Lemon Rice: Easy to Cook! Great to Taste

All the rice lovers out there would be pleased to know that their favorite rice can be flavored easily to enhance its taste. This easy to prepare recipe takes only five minutes and sure to tickle  your taste buds. Let us have a quick look at how to prepare this healthy and great to taste recipe.

Ingredients You Need:

  • Lemon juice-1-1/2 spoonful
  • Cooked rice: 3 cups
  • Refined Oil: 1 spoonful
  • Mustard seeds: ½ spoonful
  • Curry leaves: 5
  • Black gram: ½ spoonful
  • Chopped ginger: ½
  • Dried Red Pepper
  • Salt to taste

How To Cook?

Heat a spoonful of oil in a non-stick cooking pan and put some mustard seeds. When mustard seeds begin to pop, put the black gram and curry leaves. Stir it well for 30 seconds. Now, put the cooked rice in the mixture and stir again for two minutes so that it gets mixed uniformly. Keep the flame low and sprinkle lemon juice in the mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Adorn the prepared lemon rice with fresh coriander or mint leaves, cheese or eggs. Serve when hot…Yummm
