Geethanjali Bahal

Principal Osteopath

As a Senior Biomedical Scientist specializing in Histopathology with extensive experience in diagnostic testing, Geethanjali has developed a deep understanding of the intricate processes that underpin human health and disease. Her academic journey began in the realm of biomedical sciences from Durham University, where she cultivated a passion for understanding the molecular and cellular basis of disease. Over the years, she has been privileged to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, helping to bridge the gap between laboratory findings and clinical diagnoses in various hospitals such as Imperial college, Oxford University, Great Ormond street hospital and many others. Driven by a profound interest in patient care, she chose to further her studies in Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. This decision was rooted from the desire to integrate a holistic approach to healthcare, where the mind, body, and environment work in harmony to support optimal health. Osteopathic principles, particularly the focus on health and its role in overall wellbeing, have added an invaluable layer to her understanding of human physiology and disease management. Her focus on paediatrics and women's health within this field has allowed her to provide specialized care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, empowering patients to take control of their health and well-being.

Her dual role as a Senior Scientist and an Osteopathic Practitioner has allowed her to experience the convergence of scientific rigor and holistic patient care. She understands the importance of clear communication between the laboratory and clinical settings and strives to ensure that the diagnostic processes she contributes to are not only accurate but also aligned with the broader context of patient health. Her approach is one that considers both the technical and human aspects of healthcare, emphasizing the need for thorough investigation, empathy, and respect for the uniqueness of every patient.

As she continues to build her career, she is committed to advancing her knowledge in the fields of paediatrics and women’s health while continuing to practice in osteopathic medicine. She aspires to be at the forefront of integrating new diagnostic tools, advancing treatment protocols, and contributing to research that can improve the quality of care provided to these vulnerable populations.

She is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Women’s health at the renowned Molinari Institute, and is halfway through a 10-year journey studying the biodynamics of Osteopathy.
